Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen's

No.3 BlackTulip, No.4 BlackCocoa, No.9 OysterGlow

So after hearing loads about these eyeliners I finally got to try them out and see what they are all about! Firstly, Pixi is a brand that I have read a lot about but haven't actually owned anything from them before. I love their whole brand image and their packaging. I decided to go into the Pixi shop on Carnaby Street in London and do some digging about the brand. As I walked into the boutique like shop the ladies who work there were having a lovely little chatter and quickly I was involved in their conversation. They walked me round the shop and explained every product to me and overall I was impressed. They were such lovely girls who gave me the attention that every shopper should get.
Moving swiftly on to the eyeliners. To start with the only bad thing I have to say is I did ask for a black and instead I got 'Black Tulip' a extremely dark purple. Not the end of the world.
The eyeliners themselves are so creamy and soft. You have about 5 seconds to work with them, blend, smudge, whatever floats your boat, until they set completely and they will not budge all day. I wear brown eyeliner the majority of the time and No 4. Black Cocoa has been my favourite. You won't look in the mirror at about 5 o'clock and see that your eyeliner is half way down your face. This product stays.
The other colour I was really excited about was No 9. OysterGlow. This is a champagne liner that I thought would be perfect for your tear duct area. However saying that I have found my favourite use for this liner is to actually smudge it all over my eye to act as a base before I put shadow on. Works a dream.
These eyeliners are affordable at only £9.50 and in my opinion beat MAC eyeliners hands down.
Overall i love this eyeliners, the only negative I have to say (other than getting the wrong colour) is because of the creamy texture I seem to be getting threw my brown one rather quickly.

You can pick Pixi up from Boots or they have a shop on Carnaby Street.

I was so intrigued by Pixi, what other products should I try?!

Mini NARS haul

So these goodies come from a impulse online shopping session.
I love NARS and I think it is (wait for it...) my favourite makeup brand ever.
I have never been disappointed with any products I have brought from them.

So I managed to retrain myself and order 3 things.
Now technically it was only 2 items as my NARS Luguna Bronzer was a repurchase as I have nearly used mine up and can't imagine life without it (I went there...)
When I order expensive things I always do a lot of research for swatches and product pay off and the two eyeshadow duos that I had heard a lot about and wanted to try were "Kalahari" and "All About Eve"

NARS Kalahari composes of two bronze shades, left reminding me off Woodwinked from MAC and the right a cool toned taupe. I won't ramble on about the soft consistency of the NARS eyeshadows and how pigmented they always are, but by jove they've done it again. Both eyeshadows being metallic with frost finishes if your looking for a matt eyeshadow then these arn't for you but personally I love frosted eyeshadows.

Next Duo that I ordered was All about Eve.When I looked at them in the pan I wasn't over the moon but then I stuck my grubby mitts in (irony, my friends will know hands have to be freshly washed before touching my makeup.) Anyway these are both very light subtle colours that are again, frost finished but I think these are perfect day time eyeshadows and will be perfect in summer with a tan and little makeup on.

Left: Old NARS Laguna, Right: New NARS Laguna

My love hate relationship with NARS packaging....
There buttery soft cases look stunning and give them a iconic feature, however, chuck them in your makeup bag and show a bit to much love for a product and it will change colour and all dirt/makeup will cling to it. Which isn't ideal.
Other than that I do love NARS.

With NARS not being on the cheapest of Makeup brands I only splash out on their products occasionally but I will defiantly be picking some more up as I haven't tried a single thing that has disappointed me.

NARS can be brought from SpaceNK shops or online:

Review: Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation

So I picked this up about 2 months ago after reading so much about how brilliant Chantecaille is. I actually went in thinking of picking up the Chantecaille "Just skin" but got swayed towards "Future Skin."
Future Skin foundation in nude
So this foundation is the most luxurious make up piece I own, and for this reason I don't use it every day. Only for special days or when my skin needs a bit of cheering up.
The formulation of this foundation is a "oil free gel" which means that is works really well for oily skin however I think it could work for all skin types. The finish of the foundation is a healthy dewy look, but it doesn't make you look shiny or oily. I use a powder when I wear it just to set it and make it last longer.  Future Skin foundation contains Aloe, Chamomile and Arnica which means that it is very soothing on the skin and makes it suitable for sensitive skin.
The best way I found to apply this foundation is using a real technique buffing brush or a Sigma F82 brush. This way it can be really buffed into skin and it will look like your hardly wearing any foundation.
Now not only is this my must luxurious foundation is it also the most money I have ever spent on one item before in my life. For a pricey £58 this is no cheapy foundation and I guess that is why Chantecaille is associated with celebrity's like Millie Mackintosh. I picked mine up from Space NK and luckily I had £10 off with my N.dulge points to make this purchase a little easier on the bank balance. However I do think it is worth it and I really do want to try more products from Chantecaille (Maybe when I win the lottery though?)

Have you tried anything from Chantecaille before? What did you think?

You can pick up Chantecaille "Future Skin" from SpaceNK stores or online for £58 (link)

Korres Lip Butters

So I would say that the buzz about these started about 3 years ago but I never actually brought any until recently. To this day they are still talked about everywhere in the "blogger" world. I never understood why.... until I brought them.

These lip butters are super soft and melt the second they come in contact with your skin. They are amazingly moisturising and leave a subtle hint of colour. So I picked up 3 of these baby's Wild Rose, Guava and Pomegranate. I have to say Pomegranate is my favourite, its a lovely coral colour and has a lovely sweet scent that isn't overpowering in the slightest.

Korres is a natural brand so these lip butters have no nasty's in them (parabens, sulphates and so on)

Overall i completely understand the hype about these now as they just are the perfect "throw in your handbag" product. I'm excited to rock Wild Rose over winter as its a bit of a darker colour so its perfect for the festive season.
